Each year we offer 30 or so places for entry into the Sixth Form (Year 12). You can apply for one of these places by completing the Registration Form as well as the 16+ Application Form and returning these, together with the fee, to the Registrar.
Entrance exams are held at College over two days in both November and March, in the year prior to entry. For a timetable of assessment dates, please click here.
Candidates are invited to stay overnight in Houses and get a real flavour of life at College. Papers are taken in four subjects, preferably those subjects that will be studied at A Level, as well as Verbal Reasoning (VRQ). Candidates living overseas, for whom it is not practical to come to College for one of the entry rounds, can sit the entrance papers at a mutually agreed date and location.
Overseas candidates whose native language is not English sit papers in EAL(English as an Additional Language) plus three papers in the subjects to be taken at A Level.
Scholarships and bursaries are also available for entry into the Lower Sixth.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.
