3rd Form Christmas

As Christmas fast approaches, the 3rd form once again enjoyed their traditional Christmas afternoon with the Llewellyns.

Joined by their tutor, Mrs Checketts, and her son Harry, the 3rd form invaded the private-side kitchen, and soon launched into preparing their Christmas lunch. Mrs Llewellyn apportioned roles, from vegetable cutting to bird stuffing, from wrapping sausages in bacon to dessert making, and the place was soon awash with activity (and mess!)

Once the food was in the oven, the boys then retired to the snug to play with Tom and Harry, and then watch the Christmas Movie, Elf. After that, all sat down to enjoy their magnificent feast, and we are pleased to report that at the moment, no-one has reported sick as a result!

The final act of the afternoon was to decorate the Christmas trees and for the youngest boy in the House to place the star on the top. The boys showed plenty of enthusiasm as tree decorators, though perhaps less artistic merit, but it was great to give the House a festive make-over, going into the last week of term.
