Pupils of all ages have earned points for their House by submitting tasty treats to the House Baking competition.
The annual competition has again shown staff at Cheltenham Prep that there are some fantastic bakers at the school! The theme ‘Animals’ was superbly illustrated in a variety of cakes, cupcakes, biscuits and bread, baked by pupils in all year groups. The judges had a tricky challenge deciding who the prizewinners were; however, they very much enjoyed tasting the delicious entries. Prizes for the winning bakers in Lower, Middle and Upper School are due to be announced soon.
Mrs Buttress, Head of Kingfishers Pre-Prep was delighted to be the judge of the youngest section of the competition and taste every one of the 30 entries from children in Reception and Years 1 and 2! There were beautifully shaped and iced lion, snake, hedgehog and horse biscuits, which all tasted delicious. After a think and an accompanying cup of tea, the winners and runners up were decided upon and will be announced in Kingfisher Assembly on Friday. Well done to everyone for their efforts and thanks to all our parents for providing guidance and supervision in the kitchen!
