Cheltenham College has been supporting the children of the Bradet, Romania since 2001. The residential home and school for children with special needs, located in the small village of Bradet, looks after over 100 children, the majority of whom are between the ages of 5 and 18 years. The children have a range of special needs from psycho-social, emotional and behavioural needs to acute autism; importantly, they are also some of the most loving and inspiring people one could hope to meet. Every year a group of post GCSE Fifth Form pupils spends a week at Bradet, playing, drawing, singing and lots of hokey-cokeying! This short film, produced with the kind permission of the childcare department of Brasov, documents and celebrates this very special experience.
If you would like any more information or would like to donate, please contact Miss Jane Brodigan at email@example.com. We hope you enjoy sharing the magic of Bradet with us.
