To celebrate World Book Day, the Third Form took part in the Inter-House Literature Quiz. Well done to Christowe, who held off a valiant Leconfield in the final round to emerge this year’s champions, 10 points to 5. They have won the Literature House trophy as well as £50 worth of book tokens for their House.
Questions covered the classics, such as Charles Dickens’ A Tale of Two Cities as well as famous works by newer authors like Terry Pratchett. It was a real pleasure to see the entire Third Form get involved in this year’s edition of the quiz, and there was some excellent (and some “variable”) literary knowledge on display. There was also no shortage of enthusiasm in what was a very spirited competition.
A huge vote of thanks must go to “Quizmaster” Will Hardy, Academic and Library Prefect Chair, and the Academic Committee for putting the questions together.
