Last Saturday the Friends of the Prep hosted a Chinese New Year Celebration in aid of WellChild.
Over 240 tickets were sold and those in attendance enjoyed traditional music, food, crafts and activities in the Assembly and Dining Halls transformed by lanterns, silks and willow patterns.
The highlights of the night included a traditional Lion Dance by the Kui De Tang Group from Worcester and a team from Cheltenham Martial Arts giving a Wado Ryu demonstration and Martial Arts lessons.
The FoTP would like to thank Mr Theedom for allowing his oriental treasures to be borrowed for the evening and also Mr and Mrs Wells and the Boarders without whose volunteer time and efforts the event would not have been possible, let alone such a smashing success.
Not only was the evening great fun, but it raised over £600 for WellChild.
Happy Year of the Horse, everyone!
