College donates to school in Romania

College was very happy to send two large pallets of fifty boxes of clothes to the residential school for children with special needs, in Bradet, Romania. Every year since 2000 a group of post-GCSE Fifth Form pupils visit Bradet for a week in the summer to play and engage with the children. This year friendships were forged over football, music, break-dancing and games.

Many thanks to those students of Upper College, who maintained their link with the children they met by helping to load the boxes. However, very special thanks go to Mr Gibson, Senior Physics Technician, for his heroic efforts to prepare the shipment, and without whom, the donation would not have been possible.
