A team of four pupils, consisting of two from Year 8 at Cheltenham Prep and two from Year 9 at College, competed in the Regional Finals of the UKMT Junior Team Maths Challenge at Wycliffe College. This competition involves testing problem-solving skills and ingenuity. It is also a real test of communication and teamwork. The team, comprising Peter Marstrand, Saul Kim (who recently received full marks in the national UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge), Bobby Hui and Rory Maddinson, did very well indeed and were placed second from the 25 teams involved, beating local competition from Cheltenham Ladies’ College, Dean Close and St Edwards. Very well done!
