On Tuesday, the final match of the 2015 season saw a determined Common Room XI made of up sport and academic teachers take on the 1st XI. The match was played in the right spirit and although the Common Room came out winners by 3-1 it was a great way to finish the season and also celebrate the leavers as they closed their hockey chapter here at College.
Head of Hockey, Mr Gwyn Williams commented, "The girls have been phenomenal servants to College hockey and ensure they leave the shirt they have worn (Yvie Seville and Jamie Chadwick for four years!) in a good place, ready for those willing to step up and take the challenge on further of playing for the XI. I thank these girls and also a big thank you to my staff who have contributed a lot of their time to hockey and ensured no matter what team a pupil has played for, they have been able to fulfil their potential and enjoy this great game.”
