Old Cheltonians Phil Lucas (2001-2006, L) and Tom Lucas (2003-2008, L) played for Barbados in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Phil and Tom Lucas played for Barbados’ UK based team in Rugby Sevens.

Phil, who attended the University of Edinburgh, captains the 17 strong Flying Fish team and also plays for Guildford in the London 2 South West League – the seventh tier of English Rugby.

Before the Games started he told the BBC, "I still have to pinch myself. It won't be hard to get us up for those matches. It is not an opportunity that many people will get."

Mr Karl Cook, Director of Sport and the former Leconfield Housemaster said: “They were very sporty, bright, social souls”.
