Prep Runners Qualify to Represent Cheltenham

Three cross country runners from Cheltenham Prep have won the right to represent Cheltenham at the Country Race later this term, after coming in the top 12 in their District race.

It was the perfect day for this tough undulating race at St Edward's School in Cheltenham: dry, cool with no wind and the sun was shining to warm the spectators. Each race had approx 90-100 runners taking part. The Prep's Cross Country Team, who train on a weekly basis in the school's expansive grounds, performed extremely well and ran with grit and determination. Three of the team, Leah, Evie and Joe, came top 12 in their race and have therefore qualified to represent Cheltenham in the County race on 10 December. It was a great afternoon of running and the running club's staff, Mrs Jemma Miles and Mr Phillip Williams, are looking forward to supporting the team through their races later in the term.
