Radio Club

Cheltenham College Prep Radio Club meets on a Tuesday evening. Using our very own studio, editing computers and portable recording equipment, we make downloadable radio programmes on any subject.

We're proud to share our work with you below. We have a lot of interesting and creative ideas that we're working on, so please check back for updates through the year.

You can also subscribe to our podcast in iTunes so you'll get all our programmes automatically. Simply click here or search "cheltenham college" in iTunes on your iPhone, iPod or computer.

We hope you enjoy listening!

  • The Prep welcomes people from all around the world. Maxim discovered how different families and cultures celebrate Christmas.

Upper School girls went on a hockey tour to the Netherlands during October Half Term. Tillie was there to document the trip for radio club

Andre Zamora followed the "making of" the SATIPS Art Exhibition, talking to Mrs Parsley about how she created the galleries and what she hoped would be the legacy of the exhibition for the school.

Caitlin was lucky enough to visit Abu Dhabi at half term. She went armed with a recorder to take us on a journey to the Middle East.

Josie spent her half term with her family in Kenya. She recorded her adventures to give us a flavour of the wildlife in this amazing country.

Poppy and Caitlin recorded ambient sounds from around the school, to transport you to the corridors of Cheltenham Prep.

Our first programme features interviews with staff, including Headmaster, Mr Whybrow, discussing life at the Prep.
