Daylight Theatre have been touring into primary schools for over 30 years with their one hour plays involving actors, puppets, scenery and audience participation.
On Thursday 1 May children in Year 3 at Cheltenham Prep had a chance to experience this lively theatre for themselves with a production set at at Hadrian's Wall during Roman times.
Grace (Y3) commented: "I was chosen to take part in the play, with 5 other children in Year 3. We got to dress up and I enjoyed being the slave to the solider and saying 'yes sir, yes sir, yes sir,' to everything he asked me! The story was about a Roman solider who is trying to find his friend Julius Caesar and is set at Hadrian's Wall. I thought the storyline was brilliant and I liked the costumes and the set, especially when he disappeared into the well!"
