Fresh fruity smells filled the Dining Hall as over 200 home-made smoothies were entered into our competition at The Prep! The competition, launched in partnership with Smootheelicious, challenged pupils of all ages to design a smoothie recipe, with four finalists being invited to Smootheelicious HQ to recreate their taste extravaganza!
Many participants created their smoothies at home during the Exeat weekend, and brought them in to be judged. It took a while for Gill Pearson, MD from Smootheelicious, and Mike Rooke, Executive Head Chef at Cheltenham College, to taste each one and deliberate the best flavour, consistency, colour and fruit combinations for each section of the school.
After narrowing it down to 2 smoothies from each year group, Gill and Mike agreed on a winner in each section. The four lucky winners, who will be invited to the Smootheelicious HQ to recreate their drink, will be announced in Assembly on Monday.
