Third Form learn to code

Have you ever heard of Google Apps, Lego Robotics, Arduino, Artificial Intelligence, Python, Makey Makey, Twine, Balsamiq Wireframe or Logic Pro X? The Third Form were introduced to this wide range of coding skills by specialists in their field. The pupils were lucky enough to have experts from Raytheon, Capgemini, Google Apps Script, and Hang, to name a few, to lead them through well-planned exercises. Pupils made their own musical videos, designed robot machines and programmed them to follow specific routes, made a piano out of tin foil or coloured water, controlled robotic arms, learned basic hacking, built flashing cubes and designed apps for College reception. All these skills are hugely important and beneficial to them outside of College and many were inspired to find out much more.
