Year 6 Girls

Year 6 Girls

The Queen’s Prefects, as ambassadors for College, hosted the Year 6 girls for two afternoons full of games, glitter, hot chocolate and copious amounts of whipped cream!

On Monday, we made Christmas cards, tree decorations and multi-coloured pom poms, whilst listening to carols in order to get into the festive spirit. Some say we should only enter Christmas in December but we disagree! It was too much fun!

On Wednesday the girls made 48 cupcakes and decorated them with coloured icing, hundreds of chocolate drops, sprinkles and marshmallows. Our favourite moment was the popping candy eating competition!

It was lovely to see parents for a cup of tea as they picked up their daughters from Queen's, to meet the prefects, matron and Houseparents, Mr and Mrs Bates.

We hope to do it again soon for other girls in Middle School and thank everybody for making this happen.
