The Junior is a 3-13 co-educational day and boarding school, set in a stunning environment with outstanding facilities. It is an inclusive community that cares about, knows and empowers each child to be the best that he or she can be. Under our guidance, pupils are able to enjoy their childhood and develop the confidence, skills and knowledge that they need to succeed in life now, at Senior School and beyond. Most pupils make the smooth progression to Cheltenham College at 13+, however we also prepare children with great success to all leading independent schools at 11+ and 13+.

The Junior delivers a holistic, but clearly academic education that prepares children for the 21st Century. We believe in academic excellence for all pupils; our teaching is first class and we pride ourselves in ensuring that pupils of all abilities have the opportunity to fulfil their learning potential.

The pursuit of academic excellence is combined with excellent pastoral care, based on our core values of Respect, Kindness, Honesty, Forgiveness, Commitment and Responsibility. We also offer a dynamic and broad extra and co-curricular programme that identifies and encourages all pupils’ talents and interests. From the areas of sport, music, drama and art right through to ICT, adventure training and even rocket making, there is something for every pupil to excel at.
