Athletics is not a main sports department, however we pride ourselves with quality not quantity.

We generally have about 25 full time athletes (a mixture of boys and girls) and 10 or so who do athletics combined with another sport. We have a good entry into the District Trials and we usually have between 10 and 15 entries across all age levels into the County Championships of which about 5 will be representatives in the South West Championships. We have also been represented at the Nationals in recent years.

Although we have no track of our own (we do have our own field equipment!) the well-equipped Prince of Wales Stadium in Cheltenham is used extensively and is only a few minutes away. We are well staffed with experienced athletics coaches and compete in school events where appropriate. We also compete in the Cheltenham and District Year 9 Championships.

A House Relay event is also part of our Athletics calendar which is supported by the whole College.
