With the Chaplain away, Manfredi de Filippo (L6) was invited to take Chapel. Students in the past have addressed the College in Chaple, usually to highlight a cause or charity event that is close to their hearts, but it is rare to have a student take the whole of Chapel by themself, and Manfredi's offering was made all the more impressive by the fact that English is only his 4th language!

Manfredi has made a huge impression on both the House and College since arriving from Monaco this year. He addressed the College on the subject of 'Hope', and spoke with clarity, sincerity and poignancy. blending moving personal anecdotes with a thoughtful message. It really was very impressive.
