On Saturday 1st May 2010 the Cheltenham College Rugby Club is hosting a Dinner and Dance at Gloucester Rugby Club’s impressive new ‘1873 SUITE’, high above the famous floodlit Kingsholm pitch. Apart from having a fantastic evening, the aim is to raise some funds on two equal accounts. The former is the Cheltenham College Sports Tours fund, with the emphasis clearly on the eagerly awaited Rugby Tour to Argentina in August. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, it is for the ‘Help for Heroes Charity’.

College has a very strong military history, and many OCs have seen active service. Just before Christmas, Will Dixon (Xt 97-02) suffered serious injuries in action in Afghanistan. It is therefore extremely poignant to us at this time.
