Our Activities Programme
The Activities programme at College is extensive and offered alongside sport and musical commitments. All Third form pupils take part in 'Third Form Challenge' - a weekly programme based around teamwork and outdoor pursuits. Field days are taken twice a year where challenges include film-making and learning to code. The year culminates in a one-week camp for the whole year group in the Forest of Dean with options for linguists to go to Spain and classicists to go to Provence. In the Fourth Form all pupils join the CCF for a minimum of one year and many choose to stay on for their duration at College.
A wide range of Clubs are also on offer every Monday. These include among others Polo, Clay Pigeon shooting, Photography, Dance, Rock Climbing and several Cookery options. A key part of the Activities provision is the chance to partake in a College organised expedition. Annual trips to Nepal (Upper College) are run with great success, as are humanitarian projects in Romania, Kenya and Nepal. Pupils can also take Bronze and Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards, with a wide variety of expeditions on offer at Gold level. Please click through the sections to find out more information.
