Towards the end of July, Gloucestershire County Cricket Club will again be setting up at the College ground in Cheltenham for this year’s C&G Cheltenham Cricket Festival. Gloucestershire have been playing at Cheltenham for over 135 years although it was not called a Festival until 1906. It is one of the most successful Festivals in the world and further history can be found in the cricket section on the Glos CCC website.

The Club will be playing at the Cheltenham College ground from 29th July – 8th August, hosting four cricket matches, including 2 four-day LV= County Championship and 2 one-day Clydesdale Bank 40 matches.

Why not enjoy the Festival in style and join the many supporters who enjoy the idyllic Festival from one of the several marquees at the festival, a popular attraction for many businesses with groups from 25-150 being catered for.

Or why not add to the experience of the festival with a meal in the College’s grand refectory hall? This magnificent hall is a beautiful setting in which to enjoy a lovely meal at the Festival. In addition to the cricket there are also many fringe events at the Festival including the “Beating of the Retreat” by the Band of the Prince of Wales’s Division on Wednesday 4th August. Life Members’ Day is an annual occasion for life members of the Cricket Club to celebrate and we thank them for their support. Tickets cost from only £14 per day in advance or purchase a Cheltenham mini season ticket and see all 10 days of cricket for only £79. Finally, this year there is a special pupil offer! On Saturday 31st July all pupils under 16 have the opportunity to come along to the day's cricket for only £1.
