Hands-on Science

Hands-on Science

Pupils from Year 7, enjoyed a day out to the @Bristol Science Centre where they had the opportunity to take part in a workshop, run by the @Bristol team. They got to learn about the topics of Light, Space and Forensic Science.

Each pupil had a session in the Planetarium and also had some time to enjoy the vast scope of hands-on science and engineering activities in the Centre’s Discovery Zone.

A few pupils comments:

“The planetarium was fun, but educational.”

“I learned a lot about UV light and the way it reflects off different objects.”

"The stars in the night sky in the planetarium were really beautiful."
