In the final roll call of term, Mr Llewellyn took the opportunity to make some awards to the House.
Most prestigious was House Colours, presented this term to Charlie Turrell (L6th). This term Charlie was one of the stars of our House Play, showing the variety of his comic talents in two different roles, the overly competitive Jim and the strangely curious first time air traveller. He has also represented the XI for cricket, as well as representing the House in numerous guises.
The two Lower College Academic cups were also awarded. Ben Traas, despite stiff competition, was reawarded the 3rd form cup for some outstanding academic cards, whilst the 4th form cup went to Jordan Mullenga Moshi, for gaining 100% in his recent card, as well as having an outstanding term.
Finally, Mr Llewellyn also showed the House a new work of art by George Lee (U6th). Commissioned earlier in the year, George was asked to paint something that represented Newick, to hang in the Boys' Entrance. It is a stunning piece, and we hope that all visitors will enjoy seeing it up at the beginning of next term.
