Congratulations to the Senior House Rugby team, who came through a bruising encounter with Leconfield to share the House Pots trophy.

On a cold, wet and windy day, the match was a low scoring affair, and Newick needed all their determination and steel to withstand a powerful pack from their old enemy. Superbly captained by Jack Arundell, there were some stirling performances throughout the team, but special mention must go to Alex Duncliffe-Vines, who held his nerve to score crucial penalties, both at the end of normal time and extra time in order to draw level.

Unfortunately our Juniors, captained very well by Theo Sacks, could not match their Senior counterparts, losing in an excellent final to Boyne House. Scoring first through Alessandro Tiraboschi, the team showed tremendous courage in defence as well as strength and power in attack. Unfortunately, they could not keep out Oliver Thorley, who scored two strong tries to win the game for Boyne House.
