Independent Schools Hockey League

The Independent Schools Hockey League (ISHL) was set up in 2009 by a group of hockey playing schools in the Oxon/Berks/Wilts/Glos area, namely Wellington, Cheltenham, Marlborough, Eton, Radley, St Edward's, Bradfield and Abingdon. The success of the 1st XI boys' league led to the ISHL evolving in 2010 to cater for every A team in the school, with the results being inputted into Fixtures Live. In 2012 we took another step forward and expanded the leagues to incorporate more teams in school. We also introduced the league for girls, with 2012 seeing the inaugural ISHL Girls South Division competition between College, Bradfield, Wellington, Marlborough and St Edward's, Oxford.
