Welcome to Cheltenham College Junior School (CCJS) or The Junior, as we are fondly called by our pupils and their families.

We have girls and boys at our school starting from the age of 3 right up to 13, when they move on to our Senior School or another school. Children can start in our pre-prep department (Kingfishers) and then move on through Lower, Middle and Upper School.

We welcome both day and boarding pupils, with children being able to board with us from the age of 7. Some children who are day pupils spend one or two nights boarding every week and really enjoy the experience.

We appreciate that choosing the right school is probably one of the most important decisions you will ever make for your child. While we hope these website pages will give you a feel for The Junior, nothing can, of course, compensate for actually coming to see us and we would be delighted to welcome you here at The Junior.
