Yr 7 Fieldwork on Leckhampton Hill
As part of their weather studies, Year 7 carried out fieldwork data collection on Leckhampton Hill.

Yr7 Severn Bore Trip

On Tuesday 2nd March Year 7 went to witness a predicted 5 star Severn Bore and the above link shows some photographs of the trip.

Yr6 Forest of Dean Fieldwork Day

On Saturday 15th May 2010 Year 6 went to the Forest of Dean to carry out some fieldwork on river processes and undertake orienteering activities. Just after lunch we were treated to a display from Cae a search and rescue dog and learnt how the power of smell is the main sense used by dogs when searching for people and possessions. The day ended with a form tent erecting competition, won by 6L. The had to complete one fieldwork task, from collecting data to create a slope profile, investigating the speed of flow of the river or investigating the size of pebbles in relation to depth of the river. 

Yr5 Barry Island

On Tuesday 22nd July 2010 the Year 5s went to Barry Island to undertake a series of fieldwork activities associated with coasts and ecosystems. The above link is to photographs of the trip, reflecting the time spent, including a lunch of fish and chips.
