Learning to touch type

All pupils from Year 3 to Year 8 have been given an individual log on to an online touch typing course called 'Kaz'. Whilst touch typing is a life skill it only plays a small part of our ICT lessons as there are lots of other exciting things we need to learn.

To access this at home pupils need to go to the following website:
http://www.touchtypeonline.com
Their username is their school e-mail address and all pupils will have received an e-mail from me containing their password.

Alternatively, there are lots of free websites for learning and honing skills through drills and games. The BBC website has a fin area called Dance Mat Typing or you could the try the fin games on Sense-Lang typng.
