Congratulations to Max and Tom who have just competed in their first England Prep School Barbarians games in Ireland. They played 4 matches, winning 2 and losing 1 – a great showing. The main game was against Willow Park – Ireland’s top rugby school which produced the Irish stars Brian O'Driscoll and Fergus Slattery…

The tour was a wonderful experience for both boys who acquitted themselves very well and rose to the high standard. Max was very powerful up front taking on the Irish forwards in all aspects of the game and especially in the maul where he was outstanding. Tom too had a good tour running straight and tackling hard. He also won an award for his overall play and in particular for his physical and committed defence.
