Newick Dreamers

Six members of Newick House Upper College performed superbly in the recent production of A Midsummers' Nights' Dream.

It was wonderful to see so many boys from the House involved in this excellent production, with some fine, comic portrayals from Charlie Turrell, Manfredi de Filippo, Ollie Thornley, Christian Humphreys and Azm Perwaz. Held in TLG whilst Big Classical receives its make-over, this was a cleverly abridged version of Shakespeare's magical comedy, full of wonderful comic timing and hiliarious physical comedy.

Special congratulations must go to James Strutt who directed the Play. He had only 4 and a half weeks to put on the production, and to create such an imaginative and polished piece was a fantastic achievement, and well worth the considerable time he put into the show.

James' dramatic contributions don't stop there this term, as he and Charlie Turrell are producing the College Variety Show later this term.
