March 2011 will see the publication of the flying memoirs from OC and Squadron Leader John Rowland (Boyne House ‘37) DSO, DFC. John's book, entitled Return Flights in War & Peace, is being published by Pen & Sword Books.

After a very distinguished war service in the Second World War, flying Lancasters on 50 bomber operations between 1943 and the end of the war,  John flew as an airline pilot with BOAC.
