History is taught in classrooms throughout the school up to and including Year 5. From Year 6 onwards it is taught by Mr Maddock in room 9 which is dedicated to the teaching of History.

We also spend quite a bit of time in the ICT suite, making such things as an i-movie about the Battle of Hastings or a power point guide to Chepstow Castle. We also use the school grounds for battlefield sites or Civil War pike drills. Trips and excursions are a fundamental part of our subject and each year group will have at least one history based trip a year.
