The facilities here at Cheltenham College Junior School are of an excellent standard and hold the key to the sporting and athletic development of all pupils in the school.

Our spacious and well-tended grounds offer many rugby pitches and Cricket squares. The main Sports Hall (8 courts) provides an outstanding facility for organised indoor sports and is the central point for most lessons. It also houses a 6 lane, 25-metre indoor swimming pool which provides an excellent base for all of our swimming lessons. We also have 2 full size astro turfs, 4 hard tennis/netball courts, 6 squash courts and a fitness suite.

Finally, we have also just converted our old barn into a ‘mini’ sports hall, ideal for small sided games such as indoor football.

However, even more impressive than the facilities is the quality of coaching provided. As well as our excellent sports staff we also have a number of full time professional coaches, all of whom have played sport to a high level and many having gained international honours.
