Food at Cheltenham College Junior School is fantastic. In fact we’re renowned for our match teas with home made cakes. We have locally sourced suppliers who provide incredibly fresh produce and ingredients. Dishes are all prepared on site with a real home cooked feel to them.
Every day there is a wide variety of hot and cold dishes, ranging from lasagne and curry to roast dinners and fish pie. There is also homemade soup and a large salad bar offering at least 8 different salads every day. We have a roast dinner every Thursday (a real favourite!), home battered fish every Friday and every term there is a special themed day.
Seasonal fresh fruit is readily available, as well as a daily selection of traditional hot and cold puddings and cheese and biscuits. The menus run on a 3 week rota so please feel free to download the menus and have a more in depth look at what’s being cooked.
All our chefs and catering staff are fully trained and well aware of special diets and food allergies. We also run a cookery club for 20 year 5s every Monday which is incredibly popular.
