The Learning Support Department includes a team of 9 teachers and 9 part-time learning support workers. Some learning support workers are parent funded and work 1:1 with a pupil and others provide general support in the lowest sets for maths and english from Year 3 to Year 8. Although we have distinctive roles, we work closely as a team. We constantly try out creative ways of working, share skills, knowledge and example of good practice and aim to use people’s strengths to the full. We can provide 1:1 tuition in Coach House for literacy, numeracy and study skills.
