Pharaoh's son

Pharaoh's son

Year 3 was lucky enough to watch a fantastic performance by the Daylight Theatre Company this week. They performed a very informative and funny play about the mysterious disappearance of a young Tutankhamen in Ancient Egypt. The children were enthralled by the performances, which included puppets and even some of our own children as performers!

Here is what some of Year 3 had to say about it:

"I enjoyed learning about Egyptian life, my favourite part was when the monkey kept appearing at the window!" Rory M.
"My favourite character was the god Anubis, he was very funny! I loved being in it as I knew what was going to happen before the others" Tiernan C.
"I liked the priest because he was really funny and he got found out in the end" Celeste A.
"I think the play was really active and funny and my favourite character was the palace guard" James F.
"Finlay in 3B was really funny in the play, he kept saying 'sorry sir' in a funny voice!" David N.
