Last week, 14 pupils took part in a group Poetry Presentation at the Cheltenham Performing Arts Festival in the Town Hall. The Y6 team performed ‘Warning’ by Jenny Joseph. The poem explores the lives of the elderly and the way we expect adults to behave. 

The team was praised by the adjudicator for performing such a complex piece with challenging words and phrases compared with other schools. The adjudicator also commended the pupils for their teamwork, enthusiasm and enunciation. Edward, Tom and Theo, who took part, said “It was a fantastic experience and we hope we might be able to take part in this kind of event again!”
