The Jungle Book

Jungle Book report

Thanks to Mr Mills and The Image Musical Theatre, Middle School enjoyed a wonderful production of The Jungle Book this week. The pupils were delighted by the sheer exuberance of the whole performance and happily joined in many of the songs. Members of the cast appreciated the particular help of Iona, Xander, Libby, Michali, William, Lottie, Freya and Hugh who became creatures of the forest for the afternoon and duly helped to reunite Mowgli with mankind. It was lots of fun and a genuine privilege to watch Rudyard Kipling’s classic story.

Here is what the pupils had to say:‘We all took part and sang funny songs’ (Zara –5G)

‘It was great fun’ (Iona  –5B)‘It was a really fascinating experience’ (Tusmo –5G)

‘I loved the music in the Jungle Book’ (George –5L)‘It was a really lovely afternoon’ (Jenna –5G)

‘I thought it was a very realistic production’ (Georgina –5L)‘I loved taking part and being a monkey’ (Libby –5G)

‘I thought it was an amazing production – some bits were quite scary’ (Alex –5L)‘It was really good and the monkey sounds were really cool’ (Euan –5L)
