For many children the highlight of their time at school is the chance to go on trips and excursions locally, nationally and internationally. Indeed for many of us adults, the most memorable parts of our school careers were the occasions when we were taken out of school on activities that allowed us to enjoy first hand practical experience.

Many of the outings departing from The Junior are day trips that reinforce school based studies and this is also the case for some of the trips that take pupils further afield. Some excursions involve complete year groups, others are optional and for some music and sporting tours there is an element of selection.
