The boys from the 1st XI team played 13 fixtures during the term, winning 12 on the trot before drawing the final game of the season against Haileybury.
Comprehensive victories were achieved against Clifton College, Rugby School and Marlborough College. The final week of the term saw the side play in their annual cricket week. During the week they beat the Gloucestershire Gipsies, The Free Foresters and the MCC. They also hosted, and beat, Geelong Grammar School from Australia. Guy Brothwood captained the side superbly and reached the personal milestone of scoring over 2,000 runs for the 1st XI during his school career. The success of the side and the way they have played cricket this term, is a fitting tribute to former Master in Charge, Martin Stovold, who passed away earlier in the term.
- Guy Brothwood and Ben Ringrose scored centuries against The Oratory and Haileybury respectively.
- Alex Duncliffe-Vines took 7 wickets for just 28 runs againsy the Old Cheltonians.
- Guy Brothwood completed a fantastic career for the College 1st XI scoring over 2,000 runs in the process.
