Water Polo

Water polo is a sport that is continuing to grow at College, with regular training twice a week in the College 25m pool. The school has both an U16 & U18 teams and matches take place mainly on Mondays during the winter terms. Last season was tremendously successful with the U18 team reaching the semi-finals of the English Schools’ competition. This year the U16 team will be entering the ESSA competition for the first time.

The summer term features a competitive junior House Pots tournament for both boys and girls.

Rhys Edwards
With a family history in the water, there was no doubt U18 team captain Rhys would soon make his mark in the pool. He plays for Cheltenham Club, as well as representing the South West. He excelled at the recent ESSA Semi-Finals, top scoring with 6 goals.

Nikita Lazarev
This is only Nikita's first full year at the College and he has already established his himself in both the U16 and U18 teams. . He is quick on the counter attack and he has a sharp eye for goal. He recently scored an impressive double hat-trick for the U16 against Stowe and was outstanding for the U18’s in the ESSA Semi-Final’s.
