Year 7 pupil Chris Malone has a very special talent; he is an exceptional swimmer. While most of us are winding down at the end of the day and beginning to think about prep, Chris is readying himself for yet another training session, with his sights firmly fixed on his dream of representing Great Britain at an Olympic Games.
Chris competes all over the country, and still finds time to represent The Junior at school galas, frequently winning each of his varied events. At a recent meet in Cardiff, Chris set a new personal best in every event he entered and swam the 400m Freestyle in five minutes flat. In doing so, he smashed the Cheltenham College under-sixteen record, at the age of 11.
Congratulations Chris; you're certainly a name to watch in the future!
