Building Maintenance Manager
Cheltenham College’s Estates Department is looking to appoint a Building Maintenance Manager. The postholder will be a senior member of the Estates Department, working closely with the Estates Manager and reporting directly to the Estates Bursar. The role is responsible for the reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance and small building project works within all school buildings.
The postholder will line-manage a small team of in-house trades staff (electrical, heating & plumbing, carpenters, decorators and builders) as well as the procurement of external contractors, equipment and supplies.
Applicants should have relevant experience of managing buildings and works team and at least 10 years’ experience of working in the building or maintenance industry.

Hours of Work: 0800 – 1700 Mon-Thursday and 0800-1600 on Friday (39 hours per week).
Salary: Grade G: Anticipated range between £37,000 to £40,000 per annum depending on experience
