From September 2023, Cheltenham College is looking to appoint a Director of Netball to lead the development of Netball and to further establish Cheltenham College as a centre of excellence. As such, candidates should possess charisma, enthusiasm and ambition as well as a genuine passion for the sport.

The successful applicant will play a proactive role in both girls’ and boys’ sport throughout Cheltenham College and Cheltenham College Prep.  This will include coaching a variety of sports in addition to Netball throughout the Autumn and Summer terms and acting as an advocate and role model to participation in sporting activities for all our pupils.

Experience of playing or coaching netball at a high level is essential and it could be advantageous if candidates had some experience in coaching hockey, tennis and/or girl’s cricket. A strong sporting background, with proven experience and expertise in the coaching and management of Netball is essential.
