Working as part of the close-knit team of responsible adults in our Boarding Houses you will provide support to the Resident Tutor or Housemaster/Mistress (HSM) on duty.  This role offers you the opportunity to be at the heart of the Boarding House community.

The team provides care and supervision to the boarding pupils as they follow their evening routine. You will have the opportunity to really get to know pupils in the House, chatting with them to share their successes and support them with challenges.

The successful candidate will be able to balance a caring and supportive attitude with a sense of fun and the ability to maintain behavioural standards.  They will need to genuinely enjoy engaging with teenagers and display pragmatism and resilience.

Hours of work are 6pm to 10pm, 2 evenings per week, term time only (33 weeks)

We anticipate the evenings being fixed but days will vary depending on the Boarding House the candidate is allocated to work in.

Salary will be based on £11.10 per hour.
