Gardener
For a February start, an exciting opportunity has arisen at Cheltenham College for a full-time Gardener. Reporting to the Head Gardener, you will work as part of a small, close-knit team delivering a high standard of garden maintenance and hard and soft landscaping within the Cheltenham College campus.
Professional experience is not essential as full training will be provided, though a good knowledge of horticulture and a qualification in horticulture or a similar discipline would be advantageous. Candidates must be able to maintain a positive attitude in all winds and weathers. We seek a reliable individual, with good initiative and the ability to work unsupervised.
A full, clean driving licence is required and experience of driving a trailer would be beneficial. PA1 and PA6, brush-cutter and chainsaw certification would be desirable but is not essential.
Salary: £19,800 – £20,280
