For September 2024, Cheltenham College seeks to appoint a Biology Teacher for a fixed term of one year, providing cover for period of maternity leave. This will be a part-time role with an FTE of 0.44 (equivalent to 12 lessons per week)              

This role would equally suit an experienced classroom practitioner or an Early Careers Teacher who is just starting out on their teaching journey.

Applicants must have a genuine passion for the subject and the ability to create enthusiasm and excitement for the subject, stretching the highest attaining pupils (including to Oxbridge level), whilst also being able to use a range of strategies to teach across the ability range.

As well as becoming a vital member of the Biology Department, applicants will also wish to contribute to College’s rich co-curricular programme.

The College has its own salary scale which is significantly higher than the average.
