Portering and Security Officer
Portering and Security Officers undertake a variety of vital roles for College, setting up rooms for events, the day-to-day physical security of the site, minor emergency maintenance/repair tasks, initial first aid and for the coordination of security and fire alarms and services.

Hours: 40-hour week (average), working shifts are Monday to Sunday and there are 3 core shift patterns (of 8.5 hours each) as follows: 0600-1430, 0930-1800 & 1400-2230 and these shifts will be scheduled on a rota basis.
The salary for this role will be: £24,523.30 per annum (based on £11.79 per hour)
Night Shifts: Portering and Security Officers work up to 11-night shifts per year to cover the annual leave of the Night Security Officers. When covering Night Security shifts a rate of £13.00 per hour will be paid for each hour worked between the hours of 8pm to 6:30am.
A full clean driving licence is required and experience of working in a school would be desirable.
