For a September 2022 start, College is looking to appoint a Sports Professional to be responsible for the coaching of pupils in sport throughout the Senior School and The Prep. This is a term-time only role (33 weeks) and is for a fixed period of one year to provide maternity cover.

Experience of coaching netball would be advantageous, and the post-holder should be capable of developing the athletic and sporting capabilities of pupils within College’s Talented Athlete Programme.

Under the line management of the Director of Sport, the Sports Professional will also assist in the management of key areas of the busy sports programme, gaining valuable experience in administration, marketing and communications. There may be opportunities for sports professionals to assist in Sport Science lessons and it is encouraged that all sports professionals actively seek to develop their coaching.

The salary will be commensurate with experience (starting at £17,354 – based on 0.7 of a full-time starting salary of £24,400).

The postholder will also receive an Extra Responsibility Allowance of approximately £1,632.00 per annum for being a Tutor to a group of pupils and taking evening duties in an assigned boarding house. There will be approximately one evening boarding duty every ten days.
